PILOOT is a power trio that creates a 'trans-improvised' live musical experience. You won't be able to stick a label on their music, influenced by many artists such as Zorn & Masada Electric, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Mr Bungle, Supersilent or even Schoenberg…
Gathering a flute, a double bass and drums, the 3 musicians mix happily their wide variety of influences. Unexpectedly they interchange theirs roles and let emerge a hypnotic music. Surrounded with diverse atmospheres, at times heavy, light, mechanical or abstract, PILOOT's music captivates the listener, knocks him out and propels him into new imaginary soundscapes.
They are just back from touring in India where they played together with the legendary Smita Nagdev, Mandolin Sisters, Trippy Sama,...
DAVIDE TIDONI : crazy performances of this italian weirdo! He will present The Act of Creation mixes field-recordings of football chants together with the “original” songs that the chants are based on. Taking inspiration from football supporters’ practice of music appropriation, the work illustrates the very essence of the creative process as a responsive practice that always transforms the what-is-already-there and take it to somewhere else.
Who Is Me : d’après Pier Paolo Pasolini
If there is a connection between music and language, then a babbling mess is prevalent with Uské Orchestra. Sometimes it sounds to us as if ballads, bluegrass, polka, free jazz or electronics are played, but then again we are not quite sure. This is music that smirkingly teases and entangles us in its rough poetry.
aka Goborchind, BakaBaka (duo drone noise)
DEAD REFUGEES : The psycadellica atmosphere created by a free way of playing the electric guitar and percussion drumming.
