Tehran ~ Iran
« An ordinary morning in Tehran »
“An ordinary morning in Tehran” is an interpretation of urban and peri-urban soundscape of Tehran Province in Iran, both in suburb and downtown areas. The Metropolitan area is more than 2 000 km².
“The day rises in the mountainous suburbs of northern Tehran.
Arriving in the heart of the city, we stroll through the streets around the area of historical Grand Bazār of Tehran and beyond. Merchants promote their products; customers negotiate prices and… at lunchtime, restaurants announce their daily specials until a moment of rest in the early afternoon. It is an ordinary morning in Tehran.”
My special thanks go to my friend Majid Keshvari and my parents Tahereh and Masoud for their help on this project.
