Xén(o)- est une plateforme artistique dédiée à toute personne qui s'identifie comme femme, en particulier racisées, aux queer et aux non-binaires.
Elle est née du constat de la sous-représentation de ces artistes dans les programmations d'exposition, une absence qui met en lumière la réalité des rapports de domination genrée et raciale.
De ce fait, Xeno- soutient, promeut et visibilise ces artistes émergentes nationales et internationales, avec une attention particulière pour l'intersectionnalité.
Xeno- a été fondée par l'artiste tunisienne Ichraf Nasri

"TOXOPLASMA" by Sabrina Calvo
Xeno- is an artistic platform dedicated to everyone who identifies themselves as a woman, gender non-comforming and non-binary with a focus on marginalised Artists of Color.
It was born from the observation of whom was being under-represented in exhibition programs and art world in general which is an absence that highlights the reality of gender and racial domination.
As a result, Xeno- supports, shows promotes these emerging national and international artists, with a particular focus on intersectionality.
Xeno- was founded by Tunisian artist Ichraf Nasri in Brussels in 2019.
