This week a nice selection of the 2 last days of the Seanaps Festival. Day 3 & 4 on Thursday 31 December at 12:30.
The fourth edition of the transdisciplinary Seanaps Festival took place from October 15-18, 2020 in Leipzig. The festival sees itself as an homage to life and its sounds, as a vibrant mixtape for curious ears, created in interaction with a global experimental music scene – an intense moment of collective listening. It is conceived as an interface between music, sound art and the living environment – presented, explored and discussed through different formats.

18:35 Concert Microtub
Robin Hayward, Peder Simonsen, and Martin Taxt constitute the world's first microtonal tuba ensemble. The trio was formed in 2010, a year after Robin Hayward developed the first fully microtonal tuba in collaboration with the German instrument manufacturer B&S. Since 2012 they have been exploring the possibilities that lie in the microtonal tuning system known as Just intonation, using the Hayward Tuning Vine interface as a tool for composing, rehearsing, and sometimes also performing the music.
