Kanker Kommando (B): Did a first live appearance in 29 (!) years. It was also the presentation of the KW05 lp which was released on that date in a collaboration with Harbinger Sound. The lp is a compilation of unreleased tracks, and released stuff which is almost impossible to get hold off from the 1982-1988 period. An era where they mostly performed as a noise/industrial outfit between all kind of punks. Kanker Kommando still sounds very contemporary today, unlike most of their contemporaries. If Kanker Kommando would have started nowadays nobody would call them industrial. They/he would be lumped in within the electro acoustic field.
"The musical idea of the band is Low Tech, meaning that any kind of limitation (instruments, musical skills, recording-equipement, ...) would be used as a possibility to do something else.
Limitations as a constitutive part of the music; and of life for that matter."

Live performance tonight!
Kanker Kommando gaven hun eerste live optreden in 29 (!) jaar.
